Tragic: Chloe Love ends her life

Babestation star Chloe Love took her life not long after her final Instagram post showed her enjoying herself at Winter Wonderland.

But behind the online smiles, the 24-year-old was struggling with depression, according to her family, who said they “will miss her dearly.”

Her family confirmed the glamour model’s death and said that she took her own life over the New Year period.

Amy Gregory, otherwise known as Chloe Love last posted to her 55k Instagram followers three weeks ago. She shared a picture of herself cozying up to a gingerbread man figure at Cardiff’s Winter Wonderland.

Tributes are now flooding in under the post from December 31, with former Babestation colleague Hayley Maye writing: “Absolutely heartbreaking. Such a beautiful girl inside and out.”

Playboy model Isabelle Berry added: “Absolutely gutted rest in peace angel.”

Gregory, from Pontypridd, was described as having a “gentle heart and a lovely laugh” by her family.

Ms Gregory’s mother Karina paid tribute to her daughter saying: “Amy was a smart, ambitious, witty young woman with a gentle heart and a lovely laugh.

Her employer, Babestation, paid tribute to Chloe on Twitter

Babestation’s heartbreaking tribute to ‘most kind-hearted’ model Chloe Love dead at 24

“At 24 Amy had experienced more than most at her age. She was a resilient, strong, and beautiful girl who had overcome a lot of struggles and made the most of her short life.

“Although we will never get over losing Amy we will carry on together and keep her memory alive in our home and in our hearts. We hope that wherever Amy is now she feels at home, safe, loved, healed, and free.”

A fundraising page has been made in memory of Amy to help her family with funeral costs, as well as to raise funds for mental health charities.

The page, set up by a close family friend, reads: “It is with a heavy heart that I put together this fundraising campaign and I hope that by creating this fundraiser we are able to raise some money to cover the costs of Amy’s funeral and to support her family at this difficult time.

“The last few days have been really tough and it’s important that Amy’s family are able to have the chance to grieve and process what’s happened so if we can help them by making sure that their girl has the heartfelt send-off that she deserves then I think it would be a kind act of service – not just for the family but also for Amy herself.

“Amy was a witty, smart, and beautiful young woman and she was very loved by her family and friends.

“She was strong-willed, ambitious, and resilient.

“Her laugh was loud, her smile was wide, and her heart was big. She loved animals and she doted on her two fur-babies Bennie and Blanca.

“Chloe had many fans and people who cared for her and her bubbly personality brought a lot of light to what can often be a dark industry.

“Unfortunately that light wasn’t always bright enough to shine for Amy all the time and she often struggled with bouts of deep depression.”
