Plane Crash: Attahiru’s Wife Is Alive – El-Rufai’s Aide
The Chief of Staff to the Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, Mohammed Dattijo, has disclosed that the wife of the late Chief of Army Staff, Ibrahim Attahiru, Fati, is alive.
Dattijo in a post on his Twitter account debunked the report that Attahiru’s wife was involved in a plane crash.
“It is incorrect; the wife is alive. May his gentle soul rest in perfect peace,” he tweeted.
Creekvibes News magazine had earlier reported that a Nigerian Air Force aircraft conveying seven top military officers and four cabin crew members crashed near Kaduna. Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Ibrahim Attahiru died in the crash late Friday.
The Nigerian Air Force in a post on Twitter confirmed that the air crash, involving a @NigAirForce aircraft, occurred near the Kaduna International Airport.
