TRIBUTE TO CHIEF TEMPLE T. BENSON A KIND, WORTHY BOSS

Death has taken from us a rare gem, but it can never erase the legacy of a life well lived. Chief Temple Tamuno Benson was not just a boss, he was a leader with a human heart, a walking public relations mastero, a man whose kindness spoke louder than his authority.
He led with wisdom, humility and compassion. In a world where power often hardens hearts, Chief T.T.B. chose empathy; he treated everyone with respect, regardless of status, and made people feel seen, valued, and encouraged.
Working under his leadership was not a burden but a privilege. Chief Benson was the reason I served in Julius Berger Nigeria Plc and was retained after my youth service. He believed in people, he uplifted others, corrected with patience and inspired excellence without intimidation. His generosity of spirit, calm strength, undiluted charisma and unwavering integrity left lasting impressions on all who crossed his path.
Though he is gone, his values remain alive in the lives he touched, those he tutored and those who were lucky to be his family. Yes, his personality will be remembered in quiet moments, his guidance echoed in decisions made and his legacy carried forward by those of us he mentored and supported.

I remember when I started my Meljenstin Empowerment Initiative NGO for the Orphans, widows, the physically challenged, aged and disadvantaged youths. Chief followed me to go round schools to create awareness for the Apapa Youth Essay and competitions, was there at my book launch, movie premiere and many more. That’s the no air humility he possesses. Chief followed my podcasts, gives encouragement, thumbs up and will always say he is proud. What a boss, what a man
I thank God that I was able to visit him with my children last year and spent hours reliving our Julius Berger days, the betrayal of men, the achievements, the accolades and the goodbye time.
We mourn his passing with heavy hearts, but we are grateful for the gift of his life. My boss of life as I always call you, some people live meaningfully and become unforgettable, that’s where Chief Temple Tamuno Benson belongs.
I know PR chose me from womb but working with you shaped me to become the responsible and respectable lady the world sees today.
May his gentle soul rest, and may his family find comfort in the knowledge that he lived a life of purpose, honour and love. Despite going through a lot in life, he was never bitter, always smiling, always positive, always standing and looking neat.
Gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
Rest in peace and power, Chief Temple Tamuno Benson.
