Governor Rochas Okorocha of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) who failed to secure his party seat for his son in-law, Uche Nwosu, in the recently concluded elections, has recently unveiled the statue of the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari in Imo State.
Less than two weeks to vacate office for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) administration to take over. It was recalls that the governor who enjoy making statues for past and present influential leaders had earlier invited President Muhammadu Buhari for a one-day visit to Imo State but the president could not honour his invitation due to the president’s trip to Saudi Arabia for lesser Hajj.
However, Vice president, Yemi Osinbajo was on ground to supervise how Gov. Rochas’s administration manage to construct 30 general hospitals in the state, vice president also used the medium to encourage other governors to emulate Gov. Rochas Okorochas pattern of appreciating past leaders.
