HIGH CHIEF KENNETH IFEKUDU BURIES DAD IN STYLE

October 16th 2020 is a day the town of Ozubulu and the entire Anambra State will never forget in a hurry, it was the day High Chief Kenneth Ifekudu, Agbalanze Onyekachukwu of Ozubulu, The Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Leeds Limited and the group CEO of other flourishing businesses across the globe sent the father, the late Chief Paul A. Ifekudu (JP) Eze Onyekachukwu home in a super grand style which quakes the earth.

The carnival like burial of his dad, started four days to the proper burial, while activities were on going, the butchers were butchering cows on daily basis and caterers were busy dishing out assorted menus and on the other side, the suya men and fresh fish group were on ground, exotic wines were available just name your choice, you will have more than enough.

Saxophone, different gospel singers and dance groups performed all night and continued the next day. High chief Kenneth Ifekudu Agbalanze onyekachukwu 1 of Ozubulu was more than ready, he kept dishing out crispy notes from his pouch as if his pocket is a money mill, he was benevolent in his approach of spraying money; he was more than a thousand people put together.

Catholic priests numbering over 50 were present from the vigil mass to the main burial mass, Bishops of Nnewi and Ekwulobia officiated the event to a conclusive end.

The motorcade that went to Boromeow Hospital Onitsha to bring the corpse home could be likened to Oshodi traffic jam showing how connected and influential High Chief Kenneth Ifekudu and his siblings are.

Not surprisingly Apams Funeral Directors were elaborately present to showcase their latest Chariot Horse Ride also known as Marsden Hearse which is a four wheeled high quality carriage with their elegant and well suited undertakers, doing what they know best with fabulous and fantastic displays that had people mesmerised in a way one would wish we weren’t mourning but the reality was that we were.

‘Money is good’ use to be an adage but was brought to life on the 16th October by Agbalanze Kenneth Ifekudu. It is beautiful we remember that High Chief Kenneth Ifekudu a philanthropist of high repute, he attracted infrastructural development to his home town Ozubulu, his foundation has given employment opportunities to lots of people and has given scholarship to indigenes up to university level. No wonder the whole town  stopped every other activities to stand by him as he gave his lovely dad the last honour.

It will also be on record that High Chief Kenneth Ifekudu sponsored a youth empowerment essay competition against drug addiction for all the secondary schools in Ozubulu which was anchored by Hon. Amb Chibuzo Mbaso Patrick Adadioramma to the glory of God and to the praise of his people. The Youths of Ozubulu saw a wonderful display of intelligence and confidence from their peers and understood that indeed the future is bright for them with the likes of Agbalanze Onyekachukwu.

The carnival like burial of Late Chief Paul A. Ifekudu was blissful, the last journey of a beloved one should forever be remembered and cherished by family and friends. Indeed it was a special farewell that High Chief Kenneth Ifekudu gave his special dad and that shows his heart-felt love.
