Bobby Brown Jr., the 28-year-old son of US singer, Bobby Brown, has been found dead in Los Angeles.
Bobby Brown Jr., the son of musician Bobby Brown, was found dead at his Los Angeles home on Wednesday. He was 28 years old.
According to sources who spoke with TMZ, the cause of death was not immediately clear, and police are still at the house but do not believe there was any foul play involved. Bobby Jr. was the son of the New Edition singer and Kim Ward, with whom Brown had an 11-year-long on-again, off-again relationship after meeting as children. Bobby Jr., who was a musician himself, was one of seven children. He was born less than a year before Brown and Whitney Houston had their first and only daughter together, Bobbi Kristina Brown, and was 13 years old when he appeared on the family’s single-season Bravo reality show Being Bobby Brown.
This is yet another tragedy for Brown who lost his 22-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina in 2015 after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in her Georgia home, suffering irreversible brain damage that put her into a coma for six months before she died. This occurred three years after the death of her mother who was also found unconscious in her bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The official cause of Whitney Houston’s death was ruled as drowning, heart disease, and cocaine use. Bobbi Kristina’s ex-fiancé Nick Gordon, who was found legally responsible for her death, also died earlier this year of a suspected overdose.
Following the news of Bobby Jr.’s passing, his brother Landon shared a black-and-white photo of him on Instagram, writing, “I love you forever King.”
