Dj Xsmart Drops 4th Single, Another Level

Rosanwo Gabriel, an Indigene of Ogun State, , Ijebu Ode, South-west Nigeria is a well-educated Nigerian DJ, who goes by the stage name DJ Xsmart. His wealth of experience in the Disc Jockey circle earned him a vintage point performance with the likes of Wizkid, Oritsefemi, Idris Abdulkareem, Jawon, Small Doctor, Terry G, Junabee, Junior Boy and a couple of notable Nigerian music artists.

As a growing child he attended Immaculate Grace Junior School and proceeded to Sango Otta High School for his tertiary institution he did Mass Communication at Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTEC) where he posses Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and buttresses it, with Business Administration and was awarded Higher National Diploma (HND) respectively.

Excerpt;

How did you come about the coinage, DJ Xsmart?
As a young lad, my peers do refer to me as ‘smart’ while I was in the primary school, there is this competition we went for where I was addressed as smart tall boy, Thereafter my school proprietor started calling me smart, teachers were not left out.
That was how I became stocked with the name smart, and since my superior’s name is DJ Xchril, I took his X and added to my smart, alas Dj Xmart highlighted.

Like every other DJ does, do you have a Mix on the Street?
Yes I do, I did a mix last December titled; December to Remember, and my single will be out soon, ‘Another Level,’ featuring Arinze.

When did the idea of DJ erupt in your being?
It all started about 10 years ago, while I was in school and after school I focus on it.

Happily married with kids?
Yeah.
Have ever been booed on stage in the cause of doing your job if yes, how did you maneuver?
Haaa, on one of my performances with Idris Abdulkareem somewhere around Ikorodu, there was a song I played that attracted despise, a guy came and said, I was playing for the other party, I should please play for their party, I wasn’t getting it, I said how does he mean, before I could understand what was happening the next thing I saw was sachets of pure-water and all kinds of rubbish been thrown at, so I left the stage.
