It was a mixed reaction as a group of Nigerians who had gathering at Abuja House in London to show support to the President Muhammadu Buhari’s medical trip in United Kingdom meet with #BuhariMustGo protesters, while the British Police maintain peace and order as the scenario unfold.
Creekvibes News Magazine gathered that the senior special assistant to the President on media and publicity, Malam Garba Shehu, took to his verified social media handles last Monday to announce the support and solidarity for the president by those he described as “patriotic Nigerians,” including posting their pictures.
Shehu wrote: “A cross section of patriotic Nigerians are currently converging at the Nigerian House in the United Kingdom to show solidarity and support for the Muhammadu Buhari led administration.”
Omoyele Sowore, the Convener of the #RevolutionNow movement, had described the medical trip as a waste of resources and told the President to do his check-up in a “world-class” hospital he built since his emergence as Nigerian leader in 2015.
