Action Democratic Party, (ADP) made an unequivocal expression of its determination to participate in the November 6th Anambra State election when it inaugurated its campaign council.
In a press release signed by the National Chairman of the party, engineer Yabagi Yusuf Sani, he stated that the selection of the members of the Council was done carefully so that the objective for clinching the ultimate medal in the race come November 6th will be realised.
Speaking further, he said those spearheading their gubernatorial campaign in Anambra State are all people of proven integrity, with extensive experience in electioneering, campaign planning, and implementation. ” They are as well, people of unquestionable commitment and loyalty to the party who they are confident of, hence they will not leave any stone unturned towards the actualisation of the goals of the party, which is nothing short of replacing the outgoing political party occupying the Government House, in Awka come 2022″. Sani is optimistic that the people of Anambra State are clamouring for the ADP and its flagbearer because of the despondency, frustration, and repulsion towards the so-called major political parties that have at different times ruled over them from 1999 to date.
The governorship candidate of the party is Prince Afam Douglas Luke Umezoeke, a dashing young man who has carved a niche for himself as a progressive and forward-looking gentleman imbued with outstanding leadership qualities and Maxwell Chukujama is the deputy governorship candidate.
