Kaydav Passes Message of ‘The Modern Slave’ at Ogun State Fashion Show

Shrewd god of models, Oseni Hammed Kayode popularly known as Kaydav, is the CEO/Director of Kaydavmodels Agency, and also doubles as the official host of Ogun State Fashion Show.
It may also surprise you to know that Kaydav is the publisher of Fashion Business Magazine, a graduate of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, a qualified professional accountant who had worked with Niger Insurance Plc for eight years before plunges into the entertainment industry.

The publisher had all his education in Abeokuta the capital of Ogun State has over 20 songs to his credit, he was among performing artists for Glo music concert in 2017 with the like of Olamide (Badoo), Tiwa Savage, Phyno, and other notable music artists
After several years of doing music Kaydav added the epaulet of modeling to his career and his confidence on the runway earned him a supermodel status.
During the just-concluded Ogun State Fashion Show Kaydav whose modeling prowess spans across six years chooses to pass messages with what he wore to the occasion.


He was seen in Onion sackcloth which serves as a slave cloth and a wire around the sackcloth that serves as the slave chain with a padlock at the tip of the wire, in a nutshell, his dressing was tagged ‘The modern slave,’ to signify that the Nigerian government has orchestrated a modern way of slavery for Nigerians.


According to the publisher, what prompts the inspiration of the ‘The modern slave’ tag is the current nauseating happenstances ravaging the country especially the killings during the ENDSars protests; kidnapping; political and government fund mismanagement is tantamount to modern slavery.


Kaydav as a Hip-hop artist and a showbiz entrepreneur has featured many prominent artists in Nigeria which including 9ice and Fuji legend Ahlaji Sefiu Alao and many others that will not want their names in print.
Kaydav did not leave Creekvibes Oluwadamilare Daniels to anything, he took few questions.

To those that see you as a playboy, what message do you have for them and how would you describe your love life?

I am a very disciplined person and my career doesn’t permit me to be a playboy especially that I am even engaged with a child.

Consistency and never give up

After the Ogun State fashion show, what’s next?

I’ve got an upcoming music concert, modeling industry night, and Nigeria model of the year which will be coming up in December this year.

Have u had a close to death experience?

Yes, a couple of times.

How did it happen?

I fell from a moving truck on my way returning from Moshood Abiola International Stadium where I had represented my school in sport, then I was in SS2, I mistakenly fell into a shallow well when I was in JSS1, and at age four I was a victim of the fire outbreak that burnt a complete building while I was in it, to God be the glory He kept me; that happened when I was four-year-old.

What are the 3 things you can’t do without?

Music, praying, and family

What are the criteria to be among your models?

To become a professional model you need to undergo scouting training.

How many models have you groomed to the international standards of pageantry?

I have models currently walking with shoulders tall around the world.

One of My female models is the current among top fashion runway models in Indian (Zeeniaajaar).
