Visioniers 2022’s Dangote single set to rock airwaves
A quintet of MkeyVision is set to roll out a single titled ‘Dangote’, a dance hall pop music that is going to shake the airwaves upon release.
The quintet group is known as Visioners, it consist of five talented artists: Weynom Mac David a.k.a. Mac David TLJ; Gabriel Okoh a.k.a. Gabbydee; Martha Ugwu a.k.a Cecily; Odekunle Precious otherwise known as “Psalmysings and Wisdom Tamarakuro also known as Ckhrix.
These guys are products of MkeyVision, an entertainment company currently extablished in the United States of America with a branch office in Lagos, Nigeria.
Last April MkeyVision organised a music talent hunt show called “Hit The Note,” a talent hunt that attracted over 700 applications across Africa, the shortlisted applicants were screened and tested online in a strict audition process, eventually five outstanding contestants stood the tide. The winners of the talent hunt show went home with various cash gifts at the grand finale which was held on April 16th, 2022.
Weynom MacDavid the winner had a N4 million music deal, while the first runner up Gabriel Okoh took a N2.5 million music deal, and the third place goes to Martha ugwu who went home with a N1 million music deal. MkeyVision, noticed the harmony and unique substance carried by each of these last contestants while in the academy and decided to give an opportunity to the five to perform together an original song written by them under the umbrella name, ‘Visioners’, a name that has come to stay as the umbrella name for every last five contestants that will emerge in subsequent editions of the contest in years to come.
This group is set to release their first single, ”Dangote”, a song with soul soothing lyrics with a captivating video coming to town.
Even though these Five artists will be working together as The Visioners, they will also be releasing their own singles individually all within the next few months. These Five Artists have come to change the face of the Nigerian music industry as the newest and only musical group of artists performing together in the country’s music bloc. The music talent hunt show named: Hit The Note is an annual talent hunt show. Watch out as the next season will soon be announced.
