Three men get ‘death by hanging sentence’ for killing Fasoranti’s daughter

A High Court sitting in Akure, Ondo State on Friday, June 10, sentenced three men to d€ath by hanging for the m¥rder of Mrs Funke Olakunrin, the daughter of Afenifere leader, Chief Reuben Fasoranti.

Mrs Olakunrin was shot d€ad by the convicts along the Ore/Ijebu Ode highway on July 12, 2019, while returning to Lagos after visiting her father in Akure.

The convicts, Mohammed Shehu Usman, Osagie Lawal, and Adamu Adamu, were convicted by Justice Williams Olamide for conspiracy to m¥rder, k!kidnapping and armed robbery.
