(Video) Nengi Hampson solicits support for Bayelsa flood-affected people
Nengi Hampson otherwise known as Nengi has taken it upon herself to solicit help for Bayelsans displaced by the flood.
The current flood has affected Anambra, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, and Rivers in Southern Nigeria including the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
According to the reality TV star, she said, “The flood in Bayelsa State has destroyed Hospitals, Schools, Lands, Houses, and other key infrastructure in the state. Thousands of people are struggling to live as the flood has displaced them.
I want to appeal to everyone to raise awareness and give (no matter how little) to the people of Bayelsa. I will also like to appeal to the State and Federal Governments for their urgent intervention as the people need all the support.”
Nengi who participated in the 2017 Most Beautiful Girl In Nigeria (MBGN) stressed further by adding her email account for prospective helpers to DM her on her Instagram handle.
She wrote; “If you will like to support, you can send me a DM or send an email to nengihampson@yahoo.com”
In addition, Bayelsa State is cut out by the flood, and food items are now expensive.
