Reno Omokri: Obasanjo deserves to be on our Naira note
Reno Omokiri, president aid to the immediate president, Goodluck Jonathan, has opined that former president Olusegun Obasanjo deserves to be on one of her Naira notes.
He made his opinion public on his Twitter handle and drew references from South Africa, and Benin Republic’s currencies;
He wrote;
South Africa put Mandela’s image on their currency while he was alive. Benin Republic put living Olympians on her currency. Many other nations have living people on their currency. President Obasanjo deserves the honour for what he has done for Nigeria and Africa!
