In a chat with CREEKVIBES OLUWADAMILARE DANIELS who asked him about Enugu State and growing up, the Tecno Mobile BTL manager said, “According to handed down history, the first European settlers who arrived in Enugu in 1909, led by Albert Kitson, a British mining engineer who was in search of silver and discovered coal in the Udi Ridge was the reason why the state is regarded as the Coal city-state.
The part of the state which has the Coal mineral resources is called the ‘Coal camp’ it is cool, it is a very lovely and a nice site to behold in those days the Europeans have their buildings; flowers, courts and cars but now it’s a very big spare parts market.”
Creekvibes enquire further by asking if he had, had any life-threatening happenstances while growing up.
The middle age man from a family of six shared his experience.
He said, I could remember while I was growing up in my primary school days in Ekulu Primary School, it was the end of the term, and I had an excellent result, excitedly as a young lad I wanted to fly home to show my parents my fantastic result, on my way home I have to cross an express road before getting to my homestead so, I saw one of my benevolent uncles on the other side of the express, I was excited to show him my result so he can give me money, as usual, I dashed through the express without taken cognizance of vehicles going to-and-fro, unfortunately, I was knocked down by a police van (laughter) and I ended up in the hospital but God spare me.
Creekvibes asked the newly married and expecting go-getter to shed light on marriage from his perspective since he got married not quite long.
He said, “Marriage is a journey of two, it is like a fight between you and your siblings which must be settled. What is important is that you are in a relationship with someone who is not perfect, a person that is bound to annoy you with silly mistakes, in another vein put smiles on your face and lights up your home.
Marriage is a team thing, so to have a successful outing, you guys must play like a team. It is not a personal thing, that is all I can say about marriage for now, I am still a new entrant.
