President Muhammadu Buhari has disclosed that after he vacates his seat as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, he will live very far from his office in Abuja.
President Muhammadu Buhari will vacate his position after the general elections on May 29th, 2023. He disclosed that he will not be living in the nation’s capital, Abuja.
Revealing the reason for his decision, the president said he doesn’t want anyone creating any problems for him anymore. Adding that he will be living on the border in a place called Daura close to the Niger Republic. According to him, he will feel safe there.
He said, “I have promised a lot of my colleagues that I will try and be as far away as possible from Abuja when I leave office so that nobody can create any problem for me anymore.”
“I will be in Daura, which is on the border with the Niger Republic, and I think in spite of technology, I will be safe enough there”.
