Somval: I’m scheduled to be in London soon
It was an evening of excitement and vibrant entertainment as fast-rising music star, Somtochukwu Valentine, thrilled guests at the grand opening of Marble Brand Hotel Plus in Ikeja, Lagos.
Popularly known by his stage name Somval, the Eastern-born hip-life sensation delivered a captivating performance that energised the audience and added glamour to the event.
Renowned for his versatility as a singer and songwriter, Somval showcased his musical prowess with enchanting melodies and an engaging stage presence.
Hailing from Nteje in Anambra State, the 28-year-old artiste was specially brought in from the Eastern region to headline the event. His performance stood out as one of the highlights of the inauguration ceremony, leaving guests entertained and impressed.
Speaking about his musical journey, Somval revealed the depth of his entertainment ability.
“I have numerous albums, and my popular songs include Akaolu Chukwu, Better Days, Come and See, Close to My Destination, Onye Di Ndu, Nnem, Ebubeagu-Na Eche Agu, Odogwu Victor, Ilo, Offor, Nwannem, Ikenna Badmeat Mbem, Obi N’Aso M, Isi Onye Ocha, Olisa Melum Something, and Ozoemena. I have lost track of the count,” he said.
When asked about his international exposure and plans for a European tour, the artiste noted that he is yet to travel any country but remains optimistic.
“I have not travelled to any country before, but I am scheduled to be in London soon, by His special grace,” he added.
Somval’s performance not only elevated the atmosphere of the event but also reaffirmed his growing reputation as one of the promising talents in Nigeria’s contemporary music scene.
