Fubara Vows To Complete Ongoing Projects Despite withdrawals from APC governorship primaries
Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has disclosed his commitment to completing ongoing infrastructure projects throughout the state, notwithstanding recent political changes.
The governor made this announcement on Friday, just 48 hours after withdrawing from the Gubernatorial Primaries of the All Progressives Congress, APC. During an inspection tour of the new Airport Road Bypass project in Port Harcourt, he conveyed his satisfaction with the progress of construction work.
He noted that the road project has reached approximately 65 percent completion and is anticipated to be finished before October 2026. Fubara emphasized that his administration remains dedicated to governance and the implementation of projects that directly enhance the lives of residents, asserting that recent political occurrences will not hinder the state’s development agenda.
