Akande Abass Obesere: I am infinitesimal before God for him to magnify me before people

Multi-award-winning Fuji maestro, Alhaji Abass Akande Obesere dished out an electrifying performance the moment he mounted the stage at the 16th anniversary of Sidophobia Fans Club annual event which took place at Hunga M De Suites situated at Mosalashi Bus Stop in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State on the 6th day of November 2022.
Agbaakin as he is fondly called drove Sidophobia fans wild with his unusual Fuji music style and slangs usage, he sang special numbers such as Omorapala Overthrow, Asakasa and other danceable songs that got Sidophobia fans into a frenzy mood through the night.
With the joyous reception of fans and friends, it is no doubt that the proud Ibadan music star is well-loved by his fans at home and abroad.
It was a plus for Olumide Orogunle the brain behind Sidophobia Fans Club, he never knew how robust the fans club he orchestrated many years back will be while it was in the incubating stage, a Canadian-based shrewd businessman, Alhaji Ademola Abdullahi presides over the fans club with the support of Asabi Adedayo, Honourable Suleman Fowosere, Bolanle Fatimoh Aluko, Chief Fajimi Olalekan Adekanbi, Yetunde Ayanteju and others.
The Alimosho chapter of Sidophobia Fans Club with its philanthropic members scattered across the globe has a lot of benefits ranging from real estate, human capacity building, and distribution of free books to primary and secondary schools within the local government area, free health care services, helping member that is in need is not left out of their scope, chances for suitable members to school in choices universities abroad is made easy.
Agbaakin Bobagunwa of Yoruba Land while speaking with Creekvibes news magazine shed light on character usage, he said; character is not learned, God gives the character that He wants us to exhibit among His people, some people may try to imbue character to exhibit it but, they cannot because it wasn’t given to them by God, a character is a gift from the almighty.
While fielding questions from creekvibes he said, some mischief maker opined twenty or thirty years ago that I was pretending but time cleared them the stuff I am made up of.
Furthermore, he said; I am infinitesimal before God, I always beg Him to humble me in my presence and magnify me in the presence of people that appreciate me.
Creekvibes Oluwadamilare Daniels asked him about his take on the evolvement of technology and Fuji Music in Nigeria and around the world.
He asked, ‘Talking about Fuji music or music in general?’
Creekvibe’s response was in the affirmative ‘Yes’
.Alhaji Akande who is ranked among the 10 richest Fuji musicians in Nigeria said; What is important is that we are excelling; God has exalted Himself, it was rumoured that Hip-hop music will chastise Fuji music but we bless God Hip-hop and Fuji music are doing well simultaneously.
Fuji music is traditional music reeled out in Yoruba dialect for those that want to dance and mime it, unlike Hip-hop music that has a borrowed pattern. Funny enough when you talk about entertainment around the world Nigeria comes first, the Europeans don’t understand our indigenous lyrics but rock our music glory be to God, he concluded.
