Prince Ononiwu: If Your Relationship Is Toxic, Try Some Other Place…love is a beautiful thing
Eloquent viewers’ favourite Nollywood charming dude, Prince Paris Ononiwu from Mbaitoli Local Government area of Imo State, a qualified engineer who studied Urban and Regional Planning at the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Imo State. He was the Senior Prefect in his secondary school, Divine Grace Secondary School.
Although, he is not practising what he studied in the university, his passion for acting took him straight into the heart of the Nigerian movie industry.
Handsome Ihechimere is a model, actor and jeweller who deals in pure gold jewellery, the good-looking dude has succeeded in incorporating Paris Brand to tend to the increasing demands of jewellery lovers across the country.
Ononiwu is apparently in his early 40s, he debuted in 2014 when he displayed his top-notch acting skill on the set of ‘Ada Mbano,’ a movie that shot him into the hearts of his staunch fans.
He has acted quite over 45 movies but he is channelling his acting capabilities to skit-making, according to him, his followers should expect his captivating yet electrifying skits to hit their screens soon.
He is always a lead player who is saddled with lead characters in the majority of the movies that have his signage.
Creekvibes’s publisher asked Prince, going by his name if he is from a royal home, his reply was; “No, it is just a name.”
He also answered a question about his opulence moves in movies that connotes royalty, if he does grow up with Silver spoon.
He said; “As an actor and somebody that knows what he is doing in his chosen career, you must represent the characters given to you to the maximum like it is the person that you are, off the screen.”
“Although I am not a crowned prince, each time I am been given a royalty scene to depict, I give it more than my best.”

What is in the making?
I have done good movies, ‘Son of Fire’ and a couple of quite insightful epic movies, they are about to hit your screens soon, just watch out on African Magic and my Youtube channel.
Looking at your handsomeness and also as a Nollywood actor, ladies will always make passes at you, can you discuss how you put things straight before them?
Smiles, for the ladies, I have worked with several beautiful actresses but when it comes to my career, I make them know that this is my job, I can be friends with everyone on set, but I’ve got boundaries for relationships.
Now that you are planning to diversify into skit-making, have you registered a name?
Yeah, my YouTube channel, Prince Paris Tv is doing very well, beginning this month breath-taking skits will start to rock the channel.
Can you tell us about growing up?
Exhales… growing up, I was born in Jos, Plateau State, in the Northern part of Nigeria but, my father was transferred to Abia so, I found myself growing up there and I attended all my schools there.
How old were you when you left Jos?
I was just two years.
That means you can’t speak their language.
Yeah, I cannot.
Have you experienced kidnapping?
In 2005, there was an attempt on my life but, by His grace I overcame it.
How did it happen?
I was going to see my aunt in Imo State, while I was driving, I noticed a Sienna car was trailing me if I slow down, it will do the same, when I move it followed and I discovered that it was filled with hefty men, so I had to accelerate higher so, I drove into a compound owned by a reverend father, and quickly parked the car there. So they couldn’t come in; they ran away.
Have you been out of the country before?
Yes, I’ve been to Dubai.
Can you share your travelogue experience with us?
Smiles… I have a height phobia, I went with my friend, and while the plane was in the air, I felt like screaming but all-in-all, it was fun, ever since then I have not felt like travelling in an aircraft again. My Dubai trip was interesting.
Are you married?
No.
How soon should your fans be expecting your wedding invite?
As soon as possible, we are still trying to fix things.
Can you describe yourself behind a closed door?
Like I said earlier, my name is Prince Paris Ononiwu, I am a very simple and easygoing person.
Will you want to relocate out of this country someday?
Yeah, I think I will want to go to Canada in another three years.
Can you give tips for a healthy relationship?
My father always tells me that in their days, they were so lucky to get married but in this generation, if you see someone in a faithful relationship and things seem to be falling in the right places for them, you need to admire them.
My advice is simple if you think your relationship has become toxic and things are not moving fine, try to check some other places because what is not going to work, will not work. Love is a beautiful thing but you need to go for the right person, that’s my advice.
Have you had a heart-break before?
So many times, my heart has been broken over and over again, but I am a man that believes in love, I keep searching and I keep looking for the right person.

To my beautiful fans out there, God works, Jesus answer prayers; miracle does happen, don’t sit at home and be expecting a miracle, you have to go out there and hustle, no matter what you are doing, it may take stressful years but keep on pushing on, one day, you will tell your success story and that story is going to be positive, keep believing in love because it is a beautiful thing, and get yourself the right person.
Do you also believe that running after ladies dwindles a man’s progress?
Yeah, I know that the spiritual controls the physical; I am also a spiritual man.
