Hon Amb Buzopat Osigwe set to speak on Gaming Safe Initiative Anambra State project

Gaming Safe Initiative that promotes safer Gaming for sustainable society is organising a school based sensitization on underage gambling prevention in Ekwusigo Local Government communities on the 29th June 2023.

Hon. Amb. Chibuzo Patrick Osigwe aka Buzopat an advocate of drug addiction/ abuse, mental health and wellness is a divinely gifted inspirational coach, she takes pride in speaking, educating and impacting positively on the masses especially the youths.
Her NGO Meljenstin Youth Empowerment Initiative has been very vocal in championing good causes like Say No To Drug Addiction campaigns. In one of her interviews she said and I quote:: I have watched with dismay the physical harm Drug does to the users mostly the youths and minors, the addictive potentials and the overall dangerous effects on the society. My MYEI NGO decided to take up the challenge of screaming about it, we use mentoring, counselling, training, prevention campaign, school tours, walk against drugs, Youth conferences, Essay competitions on substance abuse, raising awareness on dangers of drug addiction and insisting that it is one of the pervasive problems that must that must be seriously tackled because the addicts are mostly college teenagers the future leaders of tomorrow.

Amb Buzopat Osigwe is in the best position to draw awareness of the similarity between pathological gambling and drug addiction/abuse. Many people who develop gambling addiction also develop drugs and alcohol addiction because these addictions are intertwined as part of a broader anti-social lifestyle.
A person that is high on drugs believes gambling is an acceptable method to acquire money to maintain or support their drug habit.
Initially, awareness for drug addiction/abuse are created worldwide without a strong campaign against gambling but both gambling and drug addiction share the same symptoms and now are the biggest worry any sane society will have to deal with especially our dear Country Nigeria.
The rate at which gambling is destroying the youths, families, parents’ lives, and even executives hidden behind office closed doors is alarming and cannot be overlooked any longer. It is a matter of urgency says our advocate Queen Buzopat.

Gaming (gamesafe) Safe awareness of the dangers of underage gambling beginning with remote village school sensitization initiated by Barr. Mrs. Amaka Imma Mbaso Ugwunwa is a welcome development because knowledge is power works more when you catch them young. This is apt and needed urgently.

Hon.Amb Chibuzo Patrick Osigwe stated that her compassion and passion for the Youths runs deeper than the scars she bears from the struggle of transforming lives and championing great causes to save our youths and society in general. So she is proud to identify with this game safe project and will be on the ground to speak on the D day.

We all know that her NGO Meljenstin Youth Empowerment Initiative is a non profit, non Governmental Organisation that has geared its efforts towards uplifting the down trodden all over the country, the oppressed, the despised, the disadvantaged, the aged,the physically challenged and the youths in the society through self sustained effort.
