Chibuike Mazi: For Affordable Advertisement Materials Contact Mazi


Nigerian Printing and advertising material merchandise, Chibuike Mazi, is an ebullient young man, who hails from Ibano Local Government Area of Imo State. He opinioned that; the road that leads to a successful life is never easy while in chat with CREEKVIBES, according to the handsome dude with a broad chest whose office is situated at No 2b, Orise Street, Ikeja, off Awolowo way, Lagos, said; ‘No one picks success on the road.’
Aiming to establish more outlets within the country, he imports printing/advertising materials from China and Korea.

Over the years, he has succeeded in transacting business with notable brands in the likes of: MTN, Smiles, Nigerian Breweries, Coca-Cola etc, his name is a household name on the corridors of BetNaija outlets.
CREEKVIBES OLUWADAMILARE DANIELS asked if he has visited the countries where the bulk of his advertising/printing materials are been imported from; based on the trust he has established with his Chinese and Koreans associates, he has been given invites on several occasions but, due to the fluctuation of the Dollars which tilts the air tickets fares, he borderless on travelling since he gets his consignments regularly, he said; ‘travelling with over N3m to China will be just for sight-seeing, nonetheless, I have been to Sweden before, and it was fun.’
Mazi, as he is fondly called has been in business for close to 2 decade. He took three questions from Oluwadamilare Daniels. Excerpts,

How long have you been in this business of printing/advertising materials merchandising?
I have been in business for a long time, but this particular one, was set up in the last quarter of 2017.
I started with local transactions before importing goods on my own.
Is there any way the government can be of help?
No 1: The fluctuation of the Dollars forces us to cut down on the number of containers we intend to import at the same time, you could lose millions in a twinkle of an eye.
No 2: Your consignment arrived with partly damaged material due to rough weather encountered on the high sea, you could be move to tears, but at the same time, you have to gallop on. The company shipping it to you had already borne higher risks, although when I got severe damages, I usually informed my supplier in China, so we can amicably share percentages of the losses.
How much money did you start with?
I started with N2m for a container, but now, it is N4m for such a container.
Have you got apprentices that understudied you, and perhaps you established them?
Yeah, I’ve two successful ones, one has gone out of the country, the other one is here doing very well. Some of them switched from what I taught them to other businesses.
As the saying goes, ‘change is constant.’ Initially, I wasn’t into advertisement materials merchandise, but I also shifted grounds to be here, and thank God I have improved several lives with the little I am doing.
