Starlinks Cultural International Film Festival 2024

The city of Enyimba, Aba, Abia State, Nigeria, came alive on December 6th and 7th, 2024, during the maiden edition of the Starlinks Cultural International Film Festival.
*Opening Ceremony*
The two-day event officially opened with an opening prayer and the cutting of the ribbon by legendary filmmaker Hon. Amb. Lordfrank Uwaezuoke.
The International President of Starlinks Cultural International Film Festival, Amb. Vitus Ekpechi Prince, founder/President of SCIFFA welcomed participants and guests from different states and countries. He emphasized that the event has come to stay and promised an action-packed experience.
*Day 1: Global Film and Cultural Exchange*
– Screening of selected films from diverse cultures
– Keynote address on “The Power of Films in Bridging Culture” by International Film Director Amb. Obi Hart Okeke (ANMD) on how films has been a long time medium for bridging culture all Over the world.
– Cultural display.
– Panel discussion on “How Films Foster Understanding and Unity” handled by Amb. Lordfrank Uwaezuoke.
*Day 2*
– Red carpet event
– Workshop on “Films as Tools for Cultural Preservation” handled by Amb. Obi Hart Okeke. He gave practical Analyses on how filmmakers can document and preserve endangered cultural preservation without much problems.
– Health teaching by Shine Way Health Care.
– Keynote address by the representative of the National Films and Videos Censor Board
– Workshop on directing by Amb. John Paul Nwanganga
– Workshop on producing a good film by Daisy Madu Chikwendu
– Awards ceremony for distinguished personalities
– Closing remarks by the host, Amb Vitus Ekpechi Prince,
– founder/ International President Sciffa
– Gala night event
