Nigerian popular music star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba has owned up in a recent video currently making the trend, that he is in a romantic relationship with Hon Natasha Osawaru, an Edo lawmaker, amid split from his estranged wife, Annie Idibia.
The footage revealed the moment the singer dismissed widespread claims linking Natasha to the breakdown of his marriage, stating, “I have seen so many things, so many people coming up with their own false and malicious nonsense after I posted what I posted.”
2Baba described Natasha as a “beautiful, smart, and amazing young woman” whom he loves and intends to marry. However, he clarified that she played no role in the dissolution of his marriage with Annie.
The music star emphasized that he and Annie are not at odds and both comprehend the factors contributing to their separation. The pair, who have been wed since 2012, had allegedly been residing separately for a period prior to initiating divorce proceedings earlier this year. Creekvibes noted that 2Baba disclosed his separation from Annie through a social media announcement, which ignited extensive discussion across various online platforms in January.
Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, commonly referred to as “Honourable Natasha,” is a politician serving as a member of the Edo State House of Assembly; she represents the Egor Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party, and she is currently the Deputy Majority Leader of the House.
