The alias ‘Woli OBO’, which translates to “Child of a Wealthy Man,” emerged early in his career. Despite his attempts to clarify his name as ‘WoliOBO’, they persisted in using Woli-obo. For those unfamiliar with the southwestern region Yoruba language in Nigeria, the meaning of Woli-obo will be reserved for another writeup, particularly in light of the ongoing observance of Ramadan and Lent.
