Kirk, 31, was reportedly shot and ki!led by Robinson at approximately 12:20 pm local time during a student Q&A session at UVU in Orem. Following his death, his wife, Erika Kirk, was appointed as the CEO of Turning Point USA.
In an interview that was not politically charged, focusing on entrepreneurship, business development, and future perspectives, Kirk referred to Musk as a “remarkable entrepreneur” and an “extraordinary founder.” He commended the Tesla CEO for his exceptional time management abilities and praised him for effectively managing his schedule without the assistance of an executive assistant.
Musk shared the interview on X, stating, “I know you are resting in peace, Charlie. I still cannot believe this occurred. Your memory remains strong.”
When asked about his most significant reward as an entrepreneur, Kirk reflected on his journey and the memories he forged along the way, rather than emphasizing financial achievements. He also expressed his views on guiding Generation Z and underscored the necessity of having clear and articulated values within a company.
Kirk appeared optimistic and hopeful regarding the future of the American economy. He pointed out the potential for growth in artificial intelligence and robust consumer spending. However, he also warned viewers about the possibility of a market correction due to overvalued publicly traded securities.
A public memorial service for the slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk is scheduled to take place in Arizona today Sunday 21st, 2025, with his wife Erika, President Donald Trump, and other members of the Trump administration expected to be in attendance.
The service, organized by Turning Point USA, will take place in Glendale, Arizona at State Farm Stadium.
“Join us in honoring the extraordinary life and lasting legacy of Charlie Kirk, an American icon,” Turning Point USA stated in a post on X.
It was recalled that Kirk, aged 31, lost his life while addressing an audience at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, located approximately 40 miles south of Salt Lake City. The individual suspected of the shooting, publicly named by authorities as 22-year-old Tyler Robinson, was apprehended on the night of Thursday, September 11.
A great deal remains uncertain regarding the motive of the suspected shooter. The governor of Utah stated that Tyler Robinson, 22, who has been charged in connection with the shooting and is currently incarcerated, possesses a “leftist ideology.” Additionally, shell casings bearing anti-fascist slogans were discovered, as reported by officials.
However, the precise interpretation of these and other messages remains ambiguous.
