(Video) BLACKQUEEN…A TIGRESS COMES TO TOWN, BLAZES THE RUNWAY

The story of Adelowo Hannah Oluwabusayo, otherwise known as Blackqueen in the modelling circle is often one of resilience. The 5.5inch tall model has continually forged a path for herself in an industry that has often stuck to narrow, limited notions of who should be seen and celebrated respectively.

The fashion/modelling industry still has much to do in order to encourage pretty ladies with ethnic diversity, different body types, and gender to become part of that sector in Nigeria.

Oluwabusayo, an undergraduate of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in Ogun State as a student has attained daunting feats of beauty with the aid of different make-over artists.

Just like Naomi Campbel landed the Vogue magazine covers, she had a double on Editorial Magazine winning Model of the year 2018, 2019 back to back.

She has appeared in a dazzling array of runway shows and also, she had also featured in epic movies; music videos, counting Kendall Jenner and Naomi Campbell, among others, as her mentors and source of inspiration.

It may amaze you if you discovered that the High fashion model, is an extraction of Iwere-Ile in the ancient city of Oyo State, though from a polygamous home that parades eight children while she stood at the foot as the last daughter of her mother.

The Lingerie model is currently an HND 2 Mass Communication student of the said Polytechnic as a professional model signed under Kaydav Model management.

Her experiences in the modelling terrain span 6 years.

Busayo attended Jehovah’s Will Nursery and Primary School in Surulere, Lagos State and moved to Ilupeju College in Ilupeju, Lagos, and graduated with the 2013 class.

Before she joined Kaydav model agency during her secondary school, she had the dream to become a public figure and face of local/international brands but while in Lagos she approached some modelling outfits but meet a brick wall.

She was told her height is not up to 5.9 and she can’t fly as a model. The 5.5ft daring model was heartbroken for several years before she came across Kaydav through her lecturer in the polytechnic.

The vixen’s exemplary performance at the Ogun State Fashion Show played her cards into the hearts of some fashion houses in Ogun State and ever since she has been galloping on, the likes of S&B Clothing; Double Crown Clothing; Ayoka Fashion House, and a couple of others.

She also attracted the attention of some notable makeover entrepreneurs in the likes of Tessy Makeover, She took some questions from Creekvibes OLUWADAMILARE DANIELS, excerpts;
