Prophetess Christy Idahosa, United Kingdom TGM Gospel Radio Boss: The story behind Melody Foundation

…how Melody occupied the little grave
…my encounter with the Holy Spirit
‘The rich also cry’ is a common aphorism. The story you are reading now is meant to broaden your knowledge on how God’s servant passed through fire, and brimstone to become a brazen amour in the vineyard of the Lord.

Prophetess Christy Idahosa blossomed greatly but her success did not come without chains of challenges.
In the year 2000, she was blessed with the fruit of the womb, and the child was to be named
Melody. Right from conception, she knew the baby was a lover of music and during antenatal appointments, this was also confirmed by various medical professionals.
5 days before the expected delivery
date (EDD), she had another antenatal appointment, and the baby also kicked that day about an hour before the appointment. The baby’s room and cot was set up with beautiful toys, mother care equipment and fascinating colours to make the baby settle in well and have a comfortable sound sleep with beautiful dreams after birth.
She and her husband left everything they were doing and went to the general practitioner (GP) clinic for the appointment. When they got there, several tests were done and they discovered that the baby’s heart beat was not detected. They thought that the test equipment was faulty, so the doctors got a new set of equipment and re-ran the tests and also did several scans only to discover that the baby still had no heart beat. They couldn’t believe it because the doctors had always followed up with her and checked on the baby consistently during the pregnancy. As a matter of urgency, the doctors called for the ambulance to take her to the hospital. Upon arrival at the hospital, the nurses sprang into action and they immediately used more equipment to test the baby and discovered that the baby had sadly passed away.

She and her husband were extremely devastated about the news. They refused to believe that this was the case and tried to exercise faith and believe that the baby will be well. The doctor advised them to remove the baby, however, after a brief moment of rumination from her husband, with hope for a different outcome, the baby was kept in her womb while her husband organised prayer every evening. The doctor gave them an appointment to come back in three days time and after the three days were over the doctor informed them that they would need to remove the baby as it was now an urgent matter.
Regardless of the doctors opinion, prayer still went on for around two weeks and during this time, Christy was feeling sick and feverish and when she burped there was a terrible stench. On the baby’s delivery day, her husband told the doctor to handle the child as if the baby was alive and not dead and to do everything to try and resuscitate the baby, the doctors complied. When they brought the baby out of her womb they saw that the babies body was peeling. Unfortuantely, after some time and efforts of the doctors trying to bring the baby back to life, the baby was still not resuscitated and was finally confirmed deceased.
Meanwhile, Christy was also experiencing a high temperature and high blood pressure for many days; the doctors were worried if she would survive. They tried to regulate it but it was going higher and higher so they issued a stand by doctor and a nurse to watch her carefully under close monitoring. After a few days, she managed to get up and as she went to the bathroom, she slipped and fell backwards and the wound on her stomach where the doctor conducted the caesarean operation opened up. In pain, she screamed for help from the en-suite that she was in, but to no avail. Then in desperation, she called on God to help her, and as soon as she did this she astonishingly found something to hold onto to get up and stand upright. She pressed the buzzer to call for the nurses help and the nurse came in with a doctor, and began to check on her and attend to her wound. They took her to the theatre room for the second time and re-stitched the wound and then put her in intensive care.

After a few days, her condition improved and they wheeled her back to the room and made sure she was ok. A few days after that, she strangely fell a second time even after being careful when walking. She hit her head on the wall, however, she mysteriously did not feel any pain as she felt a cushion miraculously guarding her head. She then had an encounter and she felt like her spirit was leaving her body and she was suddenly transported to the most beautiful place that one could ever be in. She then saw a man glittering and there was light shining around the man and people were walking about praising joyously.
The man then proceeded to touch her stomach where she had her operation and then all of a sudden, she woke up and discovered that she was on the floor. She got up and went back to the room. She pressed the buzzer and the nurse came again. She told the nurse that she had fell down again and then the doctor empathetically checked on her and took her to the theatre. They looked at her after assessing her and decided that everything was fine.
Two days after, they brought the baby back to her, dressed up elegantly in a Moses basket for them to say their final goodbyes. She was then discharged from the hospital and went home without the baby as the baby had unfortunately passed away. They arranged a funeral for the baby and as they buried the baby, she began to cry aloud in great pain and speaking in tongues as she was led to do. This was later understood by Christy that The Holy Spirit was empowering her to be able to withstand all sorts of problems and to stand for others in the future.
Straight after the funeral service, she was asked to help host the birthday party of a church member and she went to host a birthday celebration for a child of a church member. This is only possible with the help of God.
Even through her pain and immediately after the funeral of Melody and still wearing the same clothes was able to go and still put a smile on other peoples faces who were celebrating the same day of the funeral of her only daughter. God is great.

Some days after this, Christy heard of a mother who lost her child and was stricken with tragedy in a similar way to herself and this lady’s life was at a standstill for a whole year as she fell into depression. Christy heard the woman’s story and was moved to visit the lady and encouraged her as Christy had just buried her daughter five days ago before seeing the depressed mother. The woman was confused if it was 5 days or 5 years ago. Christy reiterated that it had been only 5 days ago. The lady got up with enthusiasm, and was moved back to life as an overcomer, showed her appreciation to Christy and took her shower for the first time in a long time. The lady was well motivated and continue on in life and had Christy as living proof of being an overcomer despite the traumatic circumstances faced.
In that moment Christy knew that the story of Melody would put a smile on people’s faces. This is how Melody Foundation was birthed.
Some months after the funeral, some close individuals to Chrsty’s family had discussions within themselves that her enemy (not her) had passed on. They were so convinced that they were telling the other person they discussed with that they saw it on the TV news.
However, the other person who visited Christy’s home confirmed that they had just seen her. This is the individual that celebrated their daughter’s birthday on the day of the funeral. That goes to show that sometimes those who are in your circle may actually be the enemy that wants your downfall. The only way you can know is by the grace of God. The same individual that falsely said they saw the news on the TV, did not call to check on her at that time but eventually called Christy 11 months after Melody funeral and was saying that she was sorry that she hasn’t called to give her condolences since her daughter Melody had passed. Christy told the person to hold on to their condolences because she does not need it as God has done a new thing in her life and rather, boldly stated that she needs a congratulations, because at this time even before a year had passed, Christy was blessed with a bouncing baby boy. Upon hearing this, the woman was shocked and hung up the phone.
Christy constantly thanks God today and states that “certain things that happen to us is actually for our learning, Christy’s favourite quote is that when all things are disabled, God is able!”.
She remembered when she pondered about life during that period and it prompted her to ask God what happened? God showed her two graves, a big one and a small one. She turned her back on the big grave and walked away but the little grave was occupied. The Lord said to her that the plan of the enemy was actually to take two lives. But God spared her life.
A voice came like the voice of an angel and said to her “don’t worry mummy, I needed to go so that you can stay and take care of the rest”. Sometimes life can be very complicated and you may never understand certain things unless the secret is revealed.
Christy’s encouragement for everyone is to pray without ceasing, trust God and serve Him because that is the duty of mankind.
In closing, she prays and exhorts, “May God bless you and keep you and may we never experience life threatening evil or heartbreaking trauma, no evil friend will report us at their altar and may the strong man and woman in our lives be demoted, disgraced and destroyed in Jesus name, Amen! May God cover us, and may we fulfil our lifes purpose according to the will of our heavenly Father in Jesus name, Amen! Lastly, remember in life, that although we often plead with God to not experience serious pain or to not lead us into temptations even as Jesus prayed, if it is God’s will for us to face hardship, then you must use your tribulation and tests as your testimony because God knows it all and He has the final say. So grow through what you go through.
It’s time to rejoice always! Phi 4:4
