Ambassador (Prince) Yommy Ogungbe: The LINK Bridge Exponent
Ambassador (Prince) Yommy S.A Ogungbe was born into a royal family on 14th July 1969; He was born into the family of Late Chief Augustine and Princess A. Adele Ogungbe both from Lagos State.
Prince as fondly called attended Trinity nursery and primary school in Ogun state, Zumuratu Islamiyah primary school Olodi Apapa and Olodi Apapa secondary school Tolu schools complex where he passed-out in 1989. He also attended the Portland costing institute of Art Sculpture/ estate management where he obtained an advance diploma from 1989 to 1991.
He equally obtained B.A in History and International relations from Lagos State University. He is also a certified professional in Enterprise Management Analytics and Certificate of Excellence from the council of chiefs of Ibafon town in Lagos.
Recent, he obtained Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership & Humanity (Phd) from Continental Bible University College (Nigeria & Overseas).
Prince knowing the importance of entrepreneurship after serving his father, he found his own company and today He is the chairman/ chief executive officer (CEO) of Prinocc Group of Companies which consist of Prinocc Royal Suites, De-prinocc Construction Company (Building and construction, Estate management, Property development, Bridges and Roads), Prinocc Media International and Member of board of directors of Ogungbe and sons global resources Plc.
Recently, he became a member of the Eko club and also a member of the African Institute of Enterprise Development Management.
He is also an ambassador for the National Association of Nigerian Students.
Prince is young and dynamic, hard working and a resourceful individual who has touched many lives over the year with his philanthropist heart.
He is a very vibrant and hard working man that loves associating and working with promising youth who are ready and willing to work hard in order to become useful and fulfilling in the nearest future. Prince believes in due process, but he does not associate with selfish, fraudulent and vision less people. He chooses people carefully, with the ideology of his vision and mission policy. He would always tell young youths never to give up no matter how hard or bad it seems to be, this is his watchword and he would also say that if he could scale through in life, then anyone can.
Due to his commitment and working spirit during his youthful age, he won the people and society renewal foundation award (PASREF) for Excellence as the Youth of the year 2001. He kept the good work and name going as he kept receiving series of awards such as:

He has also sponsored various schools both primary and secondary during inter-house sports which some schools have dedicated some (color) houses to him and has also donated stationeries and some gift items on his own free will. Schools that have benefitted from prince generosity include:

•Wowo primary school, to mention a few…
He started giving out Free G.C.E, jamb and WAEC forms since 1998 till date for those in secondary and young school leavers who cannot afford the financial implication of furthering their education. To the effect Prince has been able to sponsor Series of scholarship which many beneficiaries have benefited. The scholarship covers up to university level.
He has created jobs for some unemployed youths, helped set up business for people who do not have capital stability to start up their business. He provides financial supports to NGO for widows and has also established an NGO to help the young youths learn all types of handwork businesses.
His support for religious organizations is not left out as he continues his charity work in some parishes in the Catholic Church where he assist the widows such as; St.Charles Apapa, Sacred Heart Apapa, SS. Mulumba & David Lawanson Surulere all in Lagos Archdioces. He received Merit Award from JAMUHIYYAT RODYAT Islamic society of Nigeria for valuable contributions towards the development of Islam in general and Man of Honour from the CATHOLIC WOMEN ORGANISATION (CWON).
Prince Yommy S.A Ogungbe is indeed a man of the people and philanthropy. He is a very good example to the young generation and as such encourages them to have good lives and also work hard now that they are strong and capable in order to become prominent people in the nearest future and to be useful to the society at large.
POLITICAL CAREER:
Amb. Yommy Ogungbe was part of the group known as NADEKO, AFENIFERE and CAMPAIGN DEMOCRACY (CD) during the military regime in 1991.
He later became the president of Nigeria Youth Development Movement in 1998 where he held the position for four years. In 1998 NADEKO AND AFENIFERE was merged together to form Pressure Group where he became an aspirant for Chairmanship at Badagry Local Government Area under UNCP during the military era. He was also part of the State Exco member as the Assistant Legal of AD Political Party where he later represented Apapa Local Government Area.
After all elections in 2001, he came back to restructure the LCDA where he was given the position of assistant financial secretary. He also became the AFENIFERE AD Chairman.
AFENIFERE fraction decamped and merged with PDP in the year 2003, Amb. Yommy contested for House of Assembly under Apapa LCDA Constituency 1 where he became an aspirant.
He became a PDP aspirant in year 2007, for House of Assembly.
He became a candidate under PDP in year 2010 for House of Assembly.
In 2014, he became an aspirant of House of Assembly under PDP.
In 2019, he became an aspirant for House of Representatives under PDP (Apapa LCDA Constituency 1).
Presently, he is running for a position under PDP for Lagos/West Senatorial under the Badagry west LGA.
