Davido son’s death: Osun PDP suspends political activities
In the aftermath of Ifeanyi’s death, Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has suspended all political activities for the week.
Recalls that Ifeanyi, son David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido celebrated his birthday some days ago and reported died in a drowning domestic accident at their Lagos residence.
Dr. Adekunle Akindele, the Caretaker Chairman for the party in the state described the incident as a very sad occurrence and directed all party organs and committees to suspend their activities.
The statement;
“We mourn the sorrowful exit of our son, Ifeanyi. We pray for the repose of his soul. It is a sad day but we remain steadfast in our faith in the Lord of the Universe.
“Our condolence goes to Davido, our youth ambassador. We commiserate with our father figure, Dr Deji Adeleke, and the entire Adeleke family. We pray the good Lord to grant the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”
