Lordson: When I heard Lord Frank was dead, I Almost Died

…the day I trekked from Onitsha to Asaba

Kelvin Lordson Ifeanyi Chukwu, 23, hails from Aninri Local Government Area in Enugu State, he attended Nnewi High School in Anambra State. The young son of Iconic movie star, Lord Frank is aiming to gain admission into the university. He is an entertainer. He sings, dances, and can keep his head afloat when he gets into the swimming pool.

His father, Lord Frank wants him to be a movie director. According to Lordson, while speaking with CREEKVIBES Magazine said, ‘Sincerely I like technology… but as an obedient child in line with my father’s desires, I started with photography, and I am learning how to sequentially put scripts together.’

Handsome Lordson focuses more on his duties as a Cinematographer working to raise cash for further studies, on a few occasions, his father caught him off guard, looking unkept due to the exigencies of his duties, and his father was very angry with his rough looks, Lord Frank counselled him on how to look good at all times which he adheres to by picking up some nice wears from a nearby boutique.

Lordson had worked with Regina Daniels and her mother at different intervals, but currently, he runs his outfit, Keylocks Empire; he is a member of the Cinematographers Society of Nigeria.

The day he got the enunciating news about his father’s demise, he felt life gradually moving out of his being; he quickly put a call through, first and second calls were declined, and he thought the grapevine was right, not until the third time, as luck would have it, his father picked the call, at that point his raging nerves abates, he said, ‘Daddy is that you? Where are you?’ His father replied, ‘I am at home.’

He bolted out of his workplace like a Trojan, and went straight home to see his father, he stayed with him for two days, before he decided to return to the location.

CREEKVIBES ask the upcoming and vibrant movie director, where he will be in another five years, he said, ‘I will be my boss, I am doing some underground work of building an empire to favour a lot of people in Nigeria and the Diaspora to develop imbue talents.’

According to him, right now in Nigeria, no company does full-time entertainment, ‘What we have are corporate bodies organizing talent shows and rewarding winners, no outfit that does constant training.’ Furthermore, CREEKVIBES asked, ‘if that is what is lacking in the Nigerian entertainment industry?’ His reply was, ‘If Nigerians can look into that aspect of nurturing talents, a lot of things, that are going wrong will have been put straight.

Entertainment has its power. Building up new talents from zero will favour a lot of people, what hinders a lot of upcoming musicians is the lack of motivators, motivation has a way of making someone do better, and that is the area I want to come in.
