(Video) Runny Kay: I am Not A Lesbian, Will Settle Down When God Ordains


Kazeem Shakirat Ibironke Oluwapemisire, otherwise known as Runny Kay is a super duper street music star, aiming to be the best among her peers.
The beautiful songbird derived her stage name from her name and surname; Runny was coined from Ibironke, while Kay, was taken from Kazeem; her music inspiration comes from nature, current happenstances, memories, stories and music.
Runny Kay, apart from being a music star; is also a good dancer, actress, and a hyper, although, not with the best voice, she is blessed with a top-notch stagecraft.

The music star studied Business Administration (Ordinary National Diploma) at the Gateway Polytechnic, Ogun State. She has been in her chosen career for Seven years; she started with Christian songs, one began to wonder why she started by singing Christian songs while she is from the peaceful Islamic religion.
Creekvibes OLUWADAMILARE DANIELS asked her about her fate, she said; “I decided to change my fate by embracing the Christian religion afterwards, I started my music career with Christian songs before moving onto street songs.”
Her brand of music is laced with alluring street content, yours truly came across her at MC-paap’s birthday event, and I was astonished with the lyrics she was shunning, another captivating scenario was how the yelling crowd were captivated with her synthetic yet vulgar lyrics.
Creekvibes enquire about her tomboy looks, and also asked her if she is into the LGBTQ gang game. Her response was impressive, she said; “Yeah I am a tomboy but, I like guys, I have a boyfriend, and I do enagage in usual ladies’ stuff behind closed doors; I am not a lesbian.”
Creekvibes inquired further on the appropriate time for her to settle down, she said; “No husband anymore, but what is left on the street is a mating mate, in a nutshell, I will settle down when God ordains it.”

“By His grace, I am seeing myself at the top, and I am sure it will surely happen INSHA ALLAH.”
On the international scene, she duffs her hat for music stars like Celine Dion, Nicki Minaj, Beyonce and Rihanna while within Nigeria she respects the like of Tiwa Savage, Reekado, Maleek Berry, Davido, Wizkid and Burnaboy.
Her success story won’t be complete, without mentioning the collaboration she has done with some music stars higher in ranks, the likes of Small Doctors (Omo Iya Teacher), Portable (Omo Olalomi), Seriki, Junior Boy and Destiny Boy.
