Mohbad: Nigerians Call For Autopsy Result After Naira Marley’s Arrest

Nigerians have demanded the autopsy result after news filtered in that music star, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley, has been taken into custody by the Lagos State Police Command for interrogation and other investigation activities following the death of his former singee, Ilerioluwa Aloba popularly known as Mohbad.

Taking to different social media platforms, the Nigerians charged the police to make the autopsy result public.

According to Kele Eke, “Common autopsy result concluded, there is no public update Now Naira Marley to assist on what” he wrote on Facebook

Similarly, Honesty Faith charged the police to make the autopsy result public as soon as possible.

“Nigerian police should update the public about the results of the autopsy. It is very important” she wrote.

Noble Chidumebi posited that the non-release of the autopsy result is giving room for speculations.

“Does it mean that the autopsy read that Mohbad was killed? Because if he had died a natural death, why arrest Naira Marley? If the autopsy read that he was killed, why didn’t NPF update Nigerians? I really don’t know the forces of darkness holding this country dow” he wrote.

According to reports, Naira Marley’s arrest was confirmed by Lagos State Police Command PRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin via his verified X handle.

He wrote, “Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley has been taken into custody for interrogation and other investigation activities…#justice4Mohbad #justiceforMohbad.”

Nigerians have taken to different social media platforms to express their delight at Naira Marley’s arrest.

Earlier, the Marlian Music boss announced via his verified X handle on Tuesday night that he had returned to Nigeria.

He wrote, “I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”

It would be recalled that Naira Marley has debunked allegations that he had a hand in the death of Mohbad, stressing that despite their fallout in 2022, “no harm was wished on him.”
