(Video) Senator Ned Nwoko: Nigerians should be allowed to own guns
Prince Chinedu Munir Nwoko otherwise known as Ned Nwoko, has said, Nigerians can’t continue depending on security agencies to defend them.
The lawmaker representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, Delta State made this known in an interview on Arise News Tv.
Furthermore, Ned Nwoko noted that Nigeria has tried tackling insecurity through the combined effort of police officers and soldiers, but this has not worked.
He added that the country lacks emergency contact numbers for attacks and is facing numerous crises.
Nwoko concluded by saying that enabling citizens to defend themselves could reassure them that the government is committed to their well-being.
