Reports coming in from Rivers State indicate that a courageous Nigerian police officer named Sunday Baba has been kil!ed by unidentified gunm@n while on duty in Rumuolumeni, Rivers State.

According to the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, Tunji Disu, “Although the culprits managed to escape, we were able to recover their vehicle. Unfortunately, when we checked the officer’s phone, we discovered that he had received 59 missed calls, with 51 of them being from his wife. It was an incredibly difficult task to break the devastating news to her.” Furthermore, he expressed, “Being a police officer means leaving your home in good health, never knowing if you will return alive.

Those who take the lives of police officers are essentially murdering the very individuals who serve as the protectors of our society.

Let us honor the sacrifices made by our officers, ensuring that their sacrifices are not in vain. Farewell, Sunday,” he concluded.
