Hon Amb Buzopat loses mum

Ezinne (Lady) Mrs. May N. Mbaso was a remarkable individual, embodying qualities of godliness, humility, quiet strength, dynamism, versatility, and a candid nature, serving as a role model to countless individuals, including men, women, and children. Known by many titles such as Ezinne Di Ugwu, Golden Mother, Diamond Mother, Nnediebube, Adaoma, and Grand Patroness of numerous societies, she was a devoted lover of God, a former General of the Catholic Women’s Organization, a life member, a daughter of Mother Mary, a retired headmistress, and the last of her lineage. She excelled in training, tutoring, and mentoring her own children as well as those of others. A certified virtuous woman, she was characterised by her simplicity, elegance, generosity, and kindness.

Her departure was akin to that of an angel, serving as a testament to the exemplary life she led on earth. Lady Mary Mbaso, affectionately known as Di Bu Ndo, was honoured with various accolades, including the Knights of Service and Quality International Award, which she received alongside her late husband, Hon. Barr. Sir Linus A. Mbaso Ezeifekibeya, Ochubaluenyi Agu 1 of Ozubulu.

She was blessed with wonderful children, esteemed in-laws, beautiful grandchildren, and numerous loved ones who cherished her deeply. Details regarding burial arrangements will be communicated by Owelle Mbaso on behalf of the family in due course.
