Speech delivered by Oluwadamilare Daniels at the 3rd edition of Creekvibes Stamp of Excellence Awards
Esteemed ladies and gentlemen, it is my honour to welcome you to the third edition of the Creekvibes Stamp of Excellence Awards, an event meticulously organised by Creek Multimedia under the theme: “Who the fits…”
As the convener, I am thrilled to greet you all on this momentous occasion dedicated to recognising individuals who have excelled in their respective fields and specialisations; I extend my heartfelt admiration to each of you.
On a quick one Creekvibes news magazine commenced its publication journey in early 2019 as a bi-monthly magazine. Over the past seven years, this media platform has made significant contributions to information dissemination, ensuring that our society remains well-informed about daily events, press briefings, public relations, advertising placements in Nigerian newspapers, website design, e-commerce solutions, and the production of advertising materials such as flagpoles, roll-up banners, and also engages in general printing services.
Today, November 3rd, we gather to honor iconic Nigerian leaders, role models, entrepreneurs, motivators, and ambassadors, among others.
It is with great pleasure that I highlight the efforts of Creek Multimedia, the publisher of Creekvibes Magazine, in organising an event that unites distinguished Nigerians and prominent figures from the Nollywood industry. Notably, several esteemed actors have travelled to be part of this celebration, and I have received credible information that many of the invited icons altered their travel plans or postponed other commitments to attend; some even instructed their personal assistants to accept this prestigious award on their behalf.
Notably, our list of recipients includes distinguished Nigerians who were recognised in our inaugural edition, reappeared in the second edition, and continue to be part of our journey. Should you receive an invitation to our fourth edition, we sincerely hope you will honour our request.
I would like to express my profound gratitude for the presence of esteemed achievers who have taken time from their busy schedules to attend this award ceremony. May you and your family find comfort in all aspects of life.
Previously, we announced our competitive categories and their nominees on our social media channels. After a month, we began receiving feedback directed to the committee. This feedback was thoroughly analysed, and those with the highest number of entries were subsequently contacted.
This evening, we are here to collectively celebrate the accomplishments of these remarkable Nigerians by presenting awards to those who have earned them through meticulous and impartial evaluation.
The journey has not been without challenges, but it is through divine grace and intervention that we have persevered. Indeed, it has always been God who has guided our team to this point.
We have carefully compiled a record that will be preserved in the annals of print media, showcasing an editorial standard of excellence.
Today, you join us in honoring an iconic individual for their significant achievement; tomorrow, we will celebrate you. By supporting others, you pave the way for your own celebration in the future.
This marks the 31st edition of Creekvibes magazine. Ladies and gentlemen, may God meet you at your point of need as you engage with the fastest-growing all-colour, gloss magazine of the 21st century!
