The situation surrounding the ongoing turmoil between Nigeria’s renowned music artist, Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba, and his actress spouse, Annie Idibia, remains unresolved.
Reports indicate that Annie Idibia is currently in a rehabilitation facility following her separation from 2Baba. This development follows Tuface Idibia’s public acknowledgment of their split, with indications that divorce proceedings are in progress.
Sources have informed Creekvibes that Annie Idibia’s condition has worsened upon learning that 2Baba stated his Instagram account had not been compromised, asserting instead, “Na me yan wetin I yan,” in Pidgin English.
A post by Korkus revealed, “Actress Annie Idibia is in a very precarious state and is reportedly in rehab. Insiders suggest her situation is dire, with singer Tiwa Savage and media figure Toke Makinwa reportedly providing support… May God grant her healing.”
It is important to note that the controversy began on January 26, 2025, when 2Baba, in a now-deleted Instagram post, announced his separation from Annie, his wife of twelve years. This unexpected disclosure sparked significant reactions among fans and colleagues in the entertainment sector, many of whom questioned the validity of the announcement.
Shortly after the initial revelation, 2Baba removed the post and claimed his account had been hacked. However, just as the public began to accept this explanation, the artist released a video clarifying that the message was indeed his own and not a result of any hacking incident.
