Ronnie Dikko: He That Giveth To The Poor Lendeth Unto The Lord

The Renewed Impactful Minds Catalyst Foundation concluded its week-long event with the launch of Project 3000, which also recognized credible Nigerians who have contributed to charitable works in various capacities.
Significantly, Project 3000 aimed to feed 3000 individuals across Lagos, successfully achieving this goal within a week by moving from one area of the state to another.
(Mother of the day)
Allow me to stand on the standing protocol; it is with a heart brimming with joy and gratitude that I stand before you today as the mother of the day for this extraordinary gathering of the RIMCF family.
First and foremost, I give all glory to God for the gift of life and the strength to witness this beautiful event. I would also like to express my deep appreciation to the leadership of RIMCF for bestowing upon me this honor. It is truly significant to be recognized in this capacity, and I do not take this for granted.
To every member present here today, I extend my heartfelt thanks for your attendance.
As a mother, I comprehend the importance of nurturing, support, and guidance—values that resonate with the mission of RIMCF. Today, as we celebrate faith, family, and fellowship, I urge us all to continue constructing bridges of love, hope, and service towards one another. It is through these small acts that great transformations are born.
The president of the RIMCF previously mentioned that he hails from a humble background, stating that it was quite challenging for them to provide for themselves, saying, ‘Just manage am the way you see am shaa.’ It is widely recognized that even today, only a handful of individuals will claim to come from affluent families; times are tough, and many are struggling to meet their basic needs.
The scripture states, “He that giveth to the poor lendeth unto the Lord” (Proverbs 19:17). For those of us who identify as Christians, it is disheartening when a church member approaches us expressing their lack of food at home, and instead of offering assistance, we suggest, ‘Let us pray.’ What good is prayer if we do not take action? We should search our homes for Garri or any food we can spare to help them.
It is essential to do what we can for others, whether through mentorship, giving, or any form of support that can make a difference in their lives.
During our early morning devotional, I consistently pray to God to remember the impoverished individuals in our country and across the world.
The reality is that poverty will always exist, and it is our duty to assist those in need; we must take action.
Consider the number of people present in this hall; if each of us decided to contribute Five thousand Naira each, it would make a significant impact. As I mentioned earlier, as a mother, I recognize the importance of nurturing and guidance—values that resonate with the mission of RIMCF.
Today, as we celebrate our faith, let us remain committed to supporting one another, especially in times of need. Together, we can raise remarkable generations. I am honored to collaborate with RIMCF today, and I am excited about the achievements we will accomplish together.
