Amb (Alhaji) Lukman Shittu Zangalo: Dual-Role Trailblazer

Zangalo
Lukman 2

Ambassador Alhaji Lukman Shittu Zangalo, a dual-role leader, serves as the Chairman of the Lagos State Truck and Cargo Operators Committee (LASTCOC) and also holds the position of State Chairman of the Association of Maritime Truck Owners (AMATO). Additionally, he is the Chief Executive Officer of Zangalo Alubarika Haulage.

His ascension to the chairmanship of LASTCOC and AMATO has significantly aided in alleviating the severe congestion on the Tincan Port access road, as well as freeing the Lagos Mile 2 and Lagos Badagry Express roads from the extortionist activities of bad-boys, which had been causing gridlock, accidents, and financial exploitation of truckers.

Remarkably, Zangalo collaborates with the Nigerian Ports Authority, Nigeria Shippers’ Council, LASTMA, FRSC, the Police, and various other pertinent stakeholders both within and outside the Maritime Industry. His efforts have been instrumental in enhancing trade facilitation, improving the ease of doing business, and ensuring the smooth evacuation of cargo to and from the Apapa and Tincan seaports.
