I am from a royal family, maternal and paternal.

As a Fulani woman, could you kindly share what your parents were engaged in at Abeokuta prior to your birth?

My mother and father did not meet in Abeokuta; they met each other in Zaria, while my father was pursuing his Master’s degree and my mother had just enrolled in the university. I was born in Zaria.

How long have you been involved in the film production industry?

I have been in the industry since 2003. Concerning movie production, I just started actually this year.

What is your height, and other statistics?

I wouldn’t want to talk about that.

Love is a beautiful thing. Are you married? If not, how soon should your fans anticipate receiving your wedding invitation?

I am not married, and I am not in a relationship; I am very single, thank you.

Do you exhibit tribalistic tendencies in your selection of a life partner? If so, what are the reasons behind this?

I do not hold tribalistic views when selecting a life partner; I believe everyone is equal, and I am not tribalistic in any way. What I seek is simply a good human being—someone who is kind, generous, transparent, loyal, devoted, respectful, understanding, faithful, and an excellent communicator. This world is filled with narcissists, and I do not wish to have any narcissists in my life. I also do not want an inconsistent man by my side; I desire a man whose word is his bond. Ultimately, I just want a good man.

Do you believe that the influence of parents in selecting a life partner is beneficial?

My parents will give their support only as long as the relationship brings me happiness; even if they have a feeling that this person is unsuitable, they will prefer that I come to this realization on my own. Nevertheless, I believe that parents who are devout Christians, filled with the Holy Spirit may have a strong intuition about the unsuitability of a partner for you, and this can be instrumental in preventing you from entering a harmful relationship. Therefore, having minimal parental influence can actually be beneficial.

Has your personal background and upbringing influenced your relationship and love life?

My upbringing influences my love life, and I am a person of prayer. In my relationships, I pray for the individual and seek God’s guidance to uncover their true nature, and God consistently discloses their intentions. Yes, my upbringing has protected me from unhealthy relationships.

While in the university did you have any enunciating lecturer’s harassment, and how did you handle it?

During my time at Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria, I experienced harassment from a lecturer. However, when I studied abroad, I received nothing but admiration from my classmates and lecturers, with no instances of s@xual harassment.

When I experienced that in Nigeria, I felt compelled to share it with my mother (giggles). She advised me on the appropriate course of action, which I followed, and that concluded the matter. However, when my father learned of it, he was quite displeased.

As a Nollywood actor, have you considered going into the political terrain?

I have never thought of going into the political terrain, it has never ever crossed my mind.

Apart from acting what else do you do comfortably?

I visit children with autism on the mainland; I read storybooks to them and also listen to their monthly stories, which varies depending on my visiting schedule. I typically encourage them to create their own stories, as they possess a rich imagination. Additionally, I serve as an educational consultant for schools, particularly for early classes such as the playgroup (Crèche). Furthermore, I work as a brand architect, conducting marketing surveys for clients and engaging in branding activities. Occasionally, I am contracted to handle branding for companies that wish to express appreciation to their customers or staff.

Will you want to own or run an outfit perhaps; school, restaurant, boutique or another company?

Indeed, I would be delighted to operate my own restaurant. Additionally, I aspire to create a clothing line that caters to all genders, including children.

Who and which brand have you modelled for?

I have influenced Speed Weight Loss, Getfit, Hair Matters and a couple of others.

Are you also open to vixen roles, have you done anyone in the past?

The role of a vixen is contingent upon various factors; it must be of a high caliber. I performed one for Pasuma in 2003, during which I danced.

Is there any part of your body that, you don’t like; that you may want to do surgery to correct?

Yes, I believe my arms are excessively big. If I must undergo surgery, I would like to rectify the size of my arms, and I would also aim to eliminate fat from my back and tummy.

What’s your overview of liposuction?

Liposuction is a procedure that is typically recommended only for individuals who have had children. For those without children, I would advise against it.

Do you think it is justifiable for some group of people to conclude that actresses are prostitutes?

No, I believe it is inappropriate for individuals to generalize and claim that actresses are prostitutes. Some are dedicated to their craft, and it is unjust to label all actresses as such. Most of us are focused on our work; while I can only speak for myself, not all of us engage in prostitution.

We are diligent and hardworking, yet due to our appearances, people often make assumptions about us. Trust me, the majority of us do not fit that stereotype; we are committed to advancing our careers, transitioning from one role to another, and embodying various characters.
