Jennifer Whyte Anazodo: I am a complete African woman, I detest Liposuction
Jennifer Whyte Anazodo, also known as Jenny Whyte, is a well-known figure in the second-largest film industry globally in terms of film output. Nollywood ranks just behind India’s Bollywood, as per data from Nigeria’s National Bureau of Statistics. Jennifer Whyte serves as the CEO of Double Nolly TV and Worldview Nolly TV, two channels that currently boast over 16k subscribers on YouTube with approximately 25 videos.
This articulate film producer and marketer began her acting career at a young age. In this edition of CREEKVIBES, we will reveal a lesser-known aspect of her life. As a lively actress, she was swept off her feet by Mr. Anazodo and they embarked on the journey of parenthood together. It was a cherished moment in her life, as they nurtured their love. She took a break from acting to effectively manage her household.
Her love for him was profound, and their marriage flourished with the presence of two lovely children. Unfortunately, her marital bliss was short-lived as she was struck by the tragedy of losing her beloved spouse. At just 25 years old, she was left with a beautiful daughter and a handsome son. Nevertheless, the premature loss of her husband did not diminish her resilient spirit. The talented actress resumed her career as a widow and faced the world with unwavering courage, without any distractions. She has mentioned, “Many people are unaware that I am a single mother, despite receiving numerous proposals from eligible suitors. However, I have chosen not to remarry. I am content with my current status and only seek meaningful connections.”
The Anambra State-born actress who studied Marketing at Abia State Polytechnic, exemplifies the saying; ‘Life doesn’t stop for you, unless you want it to.’ Being a Marketing student, she excels in promoting her own movies as well as others under her production company. With a portfolio of over 20 films produced, she has also appeared in numerous movies, totaling to more than 50, her acting skills, spans over 17 years.
This beautiful actress with angelic features took time off her tight schedule to respond to questions from CREEKVIBES OLUWADAMILARE DANIELS.

What is one of the biggest challenges in the industry?
Acting is not easy. Problems differ from one person to another. Sometimes when you book an actor to be on your set unfortunately he might not be able to make it to your venue due to other engagements thus elongating your production days, and costing you more funds. This might not be so for another producer.
The fact that they collect huge sums these days is also a problem, and they might be collecting a lesser amount from another producer.
Do you pay them daily?
Not for all of them; some actors are more expensive than others, while some collect daily pay others don’t, but you will be left with no option since you need them and their crafts.
Have you been dragged on social media before?
I avoid the social media dragnets. I need to be on social media because it’s the trend. I don’t just jump into topics. I must have a good understanding of the topic before I contribute meaningfully to it.
Do you support liposuction?
I am a complete African woman. I like my stature and I love myself so much. Why should I add artificial bodies that may harm me? Of course, I don’t support that but I pray for the people who have taken to liposuction, and I hope God will help them to sail through with the after-effects
I don’t like the process, and I also don’t like going under the knifes.
One thing I know for sure is that someone will like you for your physical appearance, not you unnecessarily condemning yourself.
There was this lady back then in Abia State; whenever she passed, we all admired her. In a nutshell, she causes our heads to stir in her direction whenever she walks by. Suddenly we noticed she had not been coming around nor passing by anymore, only to discover that she had an accident that had restricted her to a wheelchair. Can you imagine? All the radiating beauty was quenched, and she couldn’t move her beautiful legs that used to be one of the most adorable legs anymore.
Resorting to liposuction to please anyone is a whole lot of nonsense to me.
I wouldn’t want any of my people to do it.
What about in future; will you take a liposuction offer?
I won’t!
How do you maintain good mental health while handling home front commitments and production stress simultaneously?
Whenever I am set for a location, I will arrange my home and plan for them before I step out. Once on location, I face my productions head-on. I just need to make a few or no calls to ensure my home front is cool.
Have you gone outside of the shores?
I have gone to some countries within West Africa, but have not been to Europe; I am yet to secure a visa.
Which country do you want to visit?
I have a lot of friends in Canada. I want to go there. I am missing them right now.
What else do you do aside from your movie thing?
I am an entrepreneur who also manages a student hotel on the sidekicks.
Will you want to own or run an NGO in the future?
Yeah, if it is possible.
Do you also get people from the South West to feature in your movies?
Yes, whenever the need arises, I got one last December, when I needed a Yoruba character to take that scene on my movie set.
Where will you and your brand be in another 5 years?
God of miracles, I cannot predict, but I am working hard to ensure that I will be a well-known movie producer and actress who has made award-winning movies that have impacted positively on people’s lives.
Will you want to re-marry, perhaps soon?
My real name is Obiora and his name is Anazordo, I love him so much, although, sadly, he is not here with me, I wouldn’t want to drop his name for any other, I am not saying that the family members are good to me o but, I still go about with his name and it is perfect for me.
Won’t you want to remarry someday?
No, no, no, I just need a good connection. People have been expecting me to get married since, but I have kept my cool for reasons best known to me. I love my husband to the extent that whenever I remember him I am always moved to tears.
What are the foods you eat to maintain your beautiful posture?
I take morsels, I like to drink tea a lot, I so much love myself, I don’t care how someone else sees me, and I am okay as I am.
What’s your favourite food?
I am not good at eating, so I don’t have a favourite food. I love having tea.
Do you take tea in order not to have a big tummy?
I already have.
