Deborah Leads Surprise Party With Junkfountain

Eloquent Olatunbosun Damilola Deborah, the CEO of Junkfountain_surprises, envisioned the concept of organizing surprise parties during the COVID-19 lockdown period, and now many individuals have joined her in the venture of creating surprises.
Deborah, as she is affectionately known, graduated from Crawford University following her outstanding performance at Krystal-Bal Comprehensive Kollege (KCK).
The Sociology graduate took advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic’s stay-at-home orders in 2020 to achieve significant success with her entertainment company, Junkfountain_Surprises, which has mastered the art of organizing surprise parties that are discreetly planned to honor the guest of honor, who remains unaware until his or her arrival. This initiative is designed to create a moment of astonishment and joy for the honoree.

As an entrepreneur, she does not rely solely on her surprise business to cover her expenses; she also operates a store named Eyinju Drink Shop, where she sells beverages as a side hustle, making her a jack of two trades and the master of both.
Interestingly, her surprise business is managed from her home. Whenever orders come through her WhatsApp, Instagram, or Facebook page for junkfountain_surprises, she promptly springs into action with a part payment in her bank account, aiming to deliver a top-notch surprise package, whether it be for a birthday, wedding proposal, or engagement, among others.
CREEKVIBES inquired if there had been an instance where a party she managed nearly went awry.
She responded, “Sometimes, certain clients tend to act as if they know everything, even after I provide my honest advice regarding the space required for the surprise party. The client opted for an open area instead of a more comfortable inn, and guess what? Heavy down pour, leaving everything nearly in shambles.
“Earlier, I had proposed specific decorations, which were rejected due to budget constraints. Ultimately, they ended up spending additional 100k instead of 20k for the initial options. I had to place the entire situation in God’s hands. Based on my preliminary feasibility study of the space, I had already envisioned the design in my mind. When the hotel provided us with a new area due to the persistent rainfall, I felt somewhat uncertain about how to manage the new space. However, it ended in praise.”
CREEKVIBES also inquired from the beautiful lady about the number of orders she has received since her business began.
She responded, “I have taken over 200 orders, and I have lost count.
“I did not attend any formal training to acquire the skills I currently possess; it is solely due to the Lord’s support. You know, when God is behind you, He grants you the insight to initiate something.
“When the idea struck me, I reached out to a friend named Mayowa and asked if he was planning to surprise his girlfriend. He expressed interest, so I immediately sent him some pictures along with the pricing. He transferred the money, and that was the beginning.
“Many people are unaware that I did not use my own funds; after the first order, other requests began flooding my inbox.
“At one point, hackers compromised my Instagram account, and regrettably, I had to create a new page from scratch.”
Additionally, CREEKVIBES asked if she intended to incorporate catering services into her offerings to provide a more comprehensive service. She said, “I have considered it, but it is not something I wish to pursue, especially given the current economic climate.”
CREEKVIBES interjected, stating that there are others on that pedestal who are benefiting. “They are, but if you converse with them, you will grasp their difficulties. I would like to grow, but I do not think I am ready for it.”
She expressed her desire for Nigerians to support her so that her brand can become a household name.
