GWIM Congratulates Oluremi Tinubu On Conferment of Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua title by Ooni of Ife

Giant Women in Media (GWIM) extends its heartfelt congratulations to the inaugural First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on being honoured with the esteemed chieftaincy title of Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II.
Clementina Olomu, the President of GWIM, remarked that while the title Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua holds historical importance, having been previously conferred upon the late Hannah Idowu Dideolu Awolowo, the wife of the esteemed statesman Chief Obafemi Awolowo, it also serves as a testament to Senator Oluremi Tinubu’s significant contributions to nation-building. She has consistently added value to women and the home front, from her tenure as the First Lady of Lagos State to her current roles as a senator and the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The ceremony drew traditional rulers and dignitaries from various regions of Nigeria, including the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III; the Sultan of Sokoto; and the Soun of Ogbomoso, along with cultural leaders and other distinguished figures.
The title of Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua adds to the array of traditional honours that Senator Tinubu has received throughout Nigeria.
