Lagos Prince Rolls Out Graduation Plans for 7th Imole Eko Free Vocational Training Ceremony

Lagos, Nigeria — Lagos Prince, philanthropist and African Global Face of Hope 2025, Ambassador Yommy Eshinlokun Ogungbe, has announced plans for the 7th Imole Eko Free Vocational Training Graduation Ceremony, scheduled to celebrate the successful graduation of over 1,000 beneficiaries who underwent various vocational training programmes at no cost.
The graduates, enrolled in the 2025 training cycle, received hands-on training in a wide range of skills aimed at promoting self-reliance and entrepreneurship. The programmes include Hair Dressing, Adire Tie-and-Dye, Fashion Designing, Makeup Artistry, Cosmetology, Catering, Milling Machine Operation, Popcorn Machine Usage, among others.
The Imole Eko Free Vocational Training Programme, which has been in existence for seven years, has grown into a major empowerment platform for trainable youths and vulnerable groups across Lagos State. The 6th graduation ceremony was held at the Police College Training Ground, Ikeja, and was widely commended for its scale and impact.

Beyond the Imole Eko Movement, Ambassador Ogungbe Eshinlokun has spent over two decades investing in human capital development. His philanthropic interventions include sponsoring WAEC and NECO examinations, providing JAMB forms for indigent students, and offering continuous support to the elderly and less privileged members of society. Through entrepreneurship-driven empowerment, he has helped numerous beneficiaries achieve economic independence, making a meaningful contribution to nation-building and economic growth.
Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET), globally recognised as a key tool in addressing youth unemployment in Africa, remains a central pillar of the Imole Eko Foundation. Ambassador Ogungbe has consistently championed TVET as a practical pathway for combating poverty and reducing unemployment through skills acquisition.
The 7th Imole Eko Graduation Ceremony will feature prominent dignitaries. High Chief Olabode George will serve as Chief Host, while business mogul Chief Adebutu Kensington (Baba Ijebu) will chair the event. Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed, and Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, are expected as Special Guests of Honour. Also expected are chief executives of notable organisations and representatives from the Nollywood industry.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Nigerian Air Force Base, Ikeja – ATO Playing Field, Lagos. Attendance is strictly by invitation, with comprehensive security screening arrangements in place.
